Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use Floor, including the website at joinfloor.com and the Floor iOS app (together, "Floor"). By creating an account or using Floor, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Floor.

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to create an account.

Floor is an education and discussion community. Nothing on Floor is investment, financial, legal or tax advice, and nothing on Floor is a recommendation to buy or sell any security or option.

• Floor is not a broker-dealer or a registered investment adviser, and it does not execute trades.
• Posts, trade calls, trade ideas, Daily Calls, leaderboards, AI-generated answers and tools reflect the views of their authors or the output of software. They may be wrong, incomplete or out of date.
• Market data may be delayed, estimated or unavailable. Some features show estimates or simulated data and say so.
• Trading, and options trading in particular, involves substantial risk and can lose more than you invest. Past performance, including another member's track record, does not predict future results.
• You are solely responsible for your own trading decisions. Talk to a licensed professional before investing.

Keep your login details secure and give accurate information when you sign up. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at support@joinfloor.com if you think someone else has accessed it.

You can delete your account at any time from account settings in the Floor iOS app, or by emailing us from the address on your account. See the Privacy Policy for what deletion removes.

You own what you post on Floor: posts, replies, trade calls, trade ideas, chat messages, images and profile details. By posting, you give Floor a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, display, reproduce and distribute that content so we can run, improve and promote Floor. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except where others have already shared it or we must keep it by law.

You confirm that you have the rights to what you post and that it follows these rules.

Do not use Floor to:

• Harass, threaten, bully or demean anyone, or post hateful, sexual or violent content.
• Manipulate markets, including pump-and-dump schemes, coordinated buying or selling, or spreading false information about a security.
• Present yourself as a licensed adviser when you are not, sell signals or paid services without our permission, or promise returns.
• Share material non-public information or anything you are not allowed to share.
• Post spam, scams, referral links or malware, or impersonate another person or organisation.
• Share other people's personal information without their consent.
• Infringe copyright, trademarks or other rights.
• Scrape, overload, reverse engineer or interfere with Floor, create accounts in bulk, or game points, streaks, challenges or leaderboards.
• Break any law or regulation.

Report content or users that break these rules to support@joinfloor.com. We may remove content, limit features or suspend or close accounts that break these rules. We are not obliged to monitor content, and we are not responsible for what members post.

Some features use AI models to generate analysis or answers. AI output can be inaccurate or made up, is not advice, and should be checked independently. Do not enter sensitive personal information into AI features.

Some features use credits. Credits bought on the website are processed by Stripe. If purchases are offered in the iOS app, Apple handles them under Apple's terms. Credits have no cash value, cannot be transferred and may expire if a feature is withdrawn.

Except where the law or the app store's rules require otherwise, purchases are non-refundable. Contact us if you think you were charged in error.

Floor shows data and links from third parties, such as market data providers and news sources. We do not control them and are not responsible for their accuracy or availability. Your use of third-party services is covered by their own terms.

We may change, pause or stop any part of Floor. We may update these terms. If a change is significant we will give notice on Floor or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use Floor after that means you accept the updated terms.

Floor is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We do not promise that Floor will be accurate, uninterrupted or error-free.

To the extent the law allows, Floor and its team are not liable for trading losses, lost profits, or indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of Floor or reliance on any content. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or US$100. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

You can stop using Floor and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or if we need to for legal reasons. Sections that by their nature should survive (such as content licences already exercised, disclaimers and limits on liability) continue after your account ends.
